SCHOLARSHIP
The NWYRA is proud to award thousands of dollars in educational funding in honor of Jake Thompson each year to support our graduating seniors by sending them off to college with a scholarship!
EVERY YEAR GRADUATING SENIORS HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO APPLY

Applicant must be a current and paid Contestant/Member of NWYRA.

Applicant that is pursuing a post-high school course of study at either a college/university, other post-secondary educational institution, or a trade school are encouraged to apply.

Scholarship application will be scored according to the Scholarship Scoring Rubrics.

Applicant must appear before the Scholarship Committee for a 15 minutes interview conducted at the second rodeo of the season.

Sarah Naegeli

Sarah is a graduate of Blanchet Catholic High School. She will be attending the University of Portland to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
